A schoolkid walks near a banner reading 'Stop to deportation, regularize all undocumented people'. The collective RESF (Reseau Education Sans Frontieres ie 'Education Network Without Borders') organized a solidarity breakfast in front The Jean Jaures primary school in Toulouse to alert parents about the situation of a schoolgirl from Gabon. Her mother is an undocumented immigrant. RESF demands, as for six others children in Toulouse, the Prefet to regularize the parents and the children. They say that French laws make school mandatory whatever the situation of the child as do the CEDH (European Convention of Human Rights). They collect signatures to present the petitions to the Prefet asking these children to stay in France. RESF is a collective with several parents'association such as FCPE, associations, unions (SUD, CGT) and NGOs (LDH, Human rights League). Toulouse. France. February 13th 2023.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised Brazil's growth forecast for 2018. According to the organization, the estimate is for the country to grow by 1.8%, previously equivalent to 2.3%. The IMF still attributes the reduction to the decision to stop truck drivers and the worsening of global economic conditions. IMF Director for the Americas Alejandro Werner said the May truck stoppage that lasted about 10 days was a "very important" factor in this review. Also weighed the uncertainty of the presidential election - whose outcome can still change the growth forecasts down. The IMF has once again stressed the need for a pension reform in Brazil, considered as "a fundamental measure" towards fiscal balance.
