Colorado Secretary of State Jena Grisowld departs the Supreme Court following oral arguments in a case that will determine if Donald Trump may be disqualified for the 2024 presidential election due to his actions in the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection, Washington, DC, February 8, 2024. The Colorado Supreme Court ruled earlier that Trump is ineligible because he engaged in insurrection, violating the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. The ruling will be on the Colorado case but will have far-reaching consequences as Trump faces challenges to his eligibility in at least 11 states.
