Australian public schools are preparing for the growing possibility of a shut down in a bid to contain the coronavirus epidemic. Many schools have started communicating parents information on what will occur in the event of a closing , including a plan of how learning will continue at home with the use of online resources. NSW DoE also tweeted that we are introducing proactive measures to limit the impact of COVID-19, with schools to adopt social distancing measures requiring the cancellation of assemblies, excursions, travel, some events and conferences.
