Debris and destroyed car are seen as massive flooding affected tourist resorts in southern Poland - Klodzko, Poland on September 27, 2024. Central Europe, including Poland, experienced widespread flooding after Storm Boris reins. Resorts such as Ladek Zdroj, Klodzko and Stronie Sloskie were particularly affected by a flood wave. The towns are being rebuilt from debris. Europe's intense rainfall in September is twice as likely thanks to climate change, says the World Weather Attribution (WWA) group.
