Public and private sector employees with retirees are expecting a decent annual salary increase as the monthly minimum wage for 2019 has been raised to 2,020 Turkish liras (approximately 381 U.S. dollars), with an increase of 26.05 percent compared with the last year. However, the minimum wage decreased from 421 to 381 U.S. dollars comparing with the last year.
