A sign on the RD20 warns of the narrowing of the RD20 near the school. Neighbors, parents, and opponents of the planned A69 highway gather in Verfeil, Haute-Garonne, on July 11, 2025, to protest against the closing of the RN126 for 6 to 9 months due to the planned A69 highway. Due to the works on the planned A69, the RN126 is closed, and traffic is diverted onto the RD20. The RD20 is in front of a future school and is a very narrow road where it is very dangerous for heavy trucks to pass each other. The RN126 road is already cut off, and the traffic is diverted onto the RD20, but in a week, two accidents take place. Parents are afraid their children or passersby could be injured or killed. Protesters put black figures along the road to raise awareness about the dangers on this little RD20.
