Comet C/2025 R3, also known as Pan-STARRS, is visible before dawn in the sky of Karawang, West Java, on April 15, 2025. Comet C/2025 R3 (Pan-STARRS) is a rare long-period comet originating from the Oort Cloud, located at the edge of the solar system, and passes close to the Sun approximately every 170,000 years. This comet was first detected on September 7-8, 2025, by the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (Pan-STARRS) telescope system in Hawaii.
