During the protest, an effigy of Baal, the Canaanite and Semitic deity, is burned. Baal is often depicted with a Star of David and symbols associated with Satanism. Furthermore, the name Baal appears in the Epstein sex scandal; in one of the emails and bank transfer forms related to Epstein, an account called ''Baal name'' is listed. It is used in modern narratives as a symbol of theories about Satanism, elites, and corruption.
