A survey carried out by Gazeta Prawna and radio station RMF24 concluded that people have become increasingly apprehensive towards having children after stricter abortion laws have taken effect. The survey also shows increasing polarisation between supporters and opponents of abortion restrictions. With the rise to power of the conservative, right-wing Law and Justice party in 2015 Poland has seen abortion regulations being rapidly tightened.
