A powered-off metro station is seen in Porto, Portugal, on April 28, 2025, as a massive power outage affects Portugal and Spain. The top display indicates delayed circulation, as no circulation occurs at all. Most transportation services shut down, with the major exception being some bus services. The power goes out at 11:33 local time. Some traffic lights and stations have minimal lighting as they run on backup generators or are supplied by solar energy.
