Presentation of the restoration of the Turin King List papyrus with a new exposition inside the Museo Egizio Di Torino on the occasion of the anniversary of the Jean-François Champollion deciphering of the Rosetta Stone and the birth of Egyptology. The Turin King List, also known as the Turin Royal Canon, is an ancient Egyptian hieratic papyrus dated to Ramesses II's reign (1290 a.C. - 1224 a. C). The papyrus is the most complete list available of kings compiled by the ancient Egyptians. Now is a series of small fragments after the disgregation during the transport in Italy made by Drovetti after the discovery in Luxor.
