This crepuscular dragonfly, belonging to the family Aeshnidae, is found in India and Sri Lanka. Known for its bright blue and green coloration developed later in life, it primarily feeds on mosquitoes and microlepidoptera, and typically shelters in dark thickets during the day. Attracted to artificial light sources, mature individuals are often seen near illuminated areas.
