Hundreds of people gathered at the Royal Castle Square in Warsaw, Poland on 24 February, 2026 to markt the 4th anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Hundreds of people, mostly Ukrainian citizens gathered in Warsaw where sthe mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski and several European ambassadors spoke in support of the Ukrainian effort to defend themselves against continuing Russian aggression and reiterate Europe's long term backing. Since the start of the conflict in 2022 close to 7 million Ukrainians have been displaced leading to the largest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II.
