Tianxiang Avenue Tunnel, with a total length of 6.379 km, is the Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway's full line control project. It is a single-tunnel double-track tunnel with a shield section length of 4.4 km and a mud-water balance shield machine with a diameter of 14.8 m is used to excavate the tunnel, which is the largest diameter shield machine in China's high-speed railway tunnel.
