Cacau Pirera (Amazonas), 4th Oct 2023 - Eudes de Oliveira walks through dried-up lakes in the Cacau Pirera region, Amazonas, to reach his home. After the Amazon River dropped 10 meters in just over a month, hundreds of communities became unreachable by conventional means of transportation. This situation has forced residents into long walks to reach their homes, often carrying essential goods and supplies.
