In Krakow, Poland, on December 30, 2025, an ambulance is present during a farmers' protest against the EU-Mercosur agreement. Across the country, farmers stage protests aimed at blocking roads and disrupting traffic, with demonstrations reported in more than 171 towns and cities. The farmers oppose the planned agreement between the European Union and Mercosur countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay, arguing that it floods the European market with South American food products that do not meet EU quality standards.
