Syrian man Faez Ghanam saved by rescue workers from under the rubble after 208 hours, in Hatay, Turkey, on February 14, 2023. -On February 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck near Gaziantep, Turkey, in the early hours, which was followed by another tremor of 7.5 magnitude just after midday. The earthquakes resulted in extensive damage in southern Turkey and northern Syria, claiming over 30,000 lives.
