Members of the FBI Evidence Response Team collect evidence following the discovery of a suspicious device on Odell Avenue in White Plains, New York, United States, on March 30, 2026. Earlier that morning, the White Plains Police Department responded to reports of a possible transformer explosion in the area at approximately 4:28 AM. After checking several transformers and finding no damage, a police officer observed a small explosive device near the doorway of an apartment building at 11 Odell Avenue around 6:08 AM. Additional units established a perimeter, and residents nearby were instructed to shelter in place as a precaution. The device was successfully secured, and two people of interest are currently detained in the investigation.
