A group of local activists, their families and supporters gathered during a candlelight vigil to protest against the war(s) in front of the San Cristobal de las Casas cathedral. On the 2nd of March the EZLN issued a statment in relation to the Russian invasion to Ukraine, saying 'As Zapatistas, we do not support either state but rather those who are struggling for life against the system...
