The book is titled 'The Rumor of Orleans'; it is about a rumor in Orleans in 1969 that claimed white women were kidnapped by Jews for white slavery. In fact, all was false, but people and the media initially believed it to be true. The Quai des Savoirs unveils its latest temporary exhibition today. This exhibition is about crowds: crowds in real life, digital crowds, and their behaviors. It is entitled 'As Sheeps?' (i.e., 'as blind followers'). The spread of fake news on the internet is also a subject of the exhibition, as is democracy. In Toulouse, France, on January 28, 2025.
