Floating Krathongs, baskets made with leaves and flowers, float in a park lagoon during the Thai annual Loy Krathong festival in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 15, 2024. The annual Festival of Loy Krathong is held to pay respects to the goddess of the river and apologize for polluting rivers by releasing small lanterns known as ''Krathong'' into the water. These are made of banana leaves and lotus-shaped rafts, decorated with candles and incense.
