Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, former Finance and Foreign Minister of Nepal and the spokesperson of the Nepali Congress, arrives at the Office of the Prime Minister during the all-party meeting convened by the interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki in Kathmandu, Nepal, on November 19, 2025. In the meeting, the interim Prime Minister sends a clear and stern message to political parties to ensure the success of the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, 2026. Karki warns that demands for the reinstatement of parliament or election boycotts could push the country back into instability.
