Members of Extinction Rebellion DC stand outside the headquarters of Washington Gas Light with signs appealing directly to Donald Blue Jenkins, president of WGL, and Andrea Coughlin-Rowley, senior vice president. The group hosted the event as part of the their "End methane, electrify DC" campaign, in protest against expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure by WGL, as well as the company's role in methane leaks that currently plague DC.
