Grapevines cover a balcony on the facade of an old apartment block in the Moldavanka neighborhood in Odesa, Ukraine, on November 4, 2025. Moldavanka is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. It is founded in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The locality is named after Moldovan and Wallachian settlers who arrive after the Treaty of Jassy in 1792. Moldavanka is known for its narrow courtyards, old buildings, and low-rise architecture.

For the first time since 2020, the vineyards in the Penedes region are green and healthy. After a long drought, spring rains reverse the negative trend that severely affects one of Catalonia's most important wine-producing regions. This period of drought damages the vines to the point of death or abandonment by their owners. A large harvest is not expected, but expectations are positive, as evidenced by the vineyards of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. In the photo, old vines die due to the drought, in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, Barcelona, Spain, on July 9, 2025.
