Renu Dhariwal starts growing her hair in 2015 and has since been awarded numerous awards and broken several records with her hair length of 274.32 cm (9 feet). Now, Renu sets her sights on breaking the Guinness World Record for Longest hair on a living person (female) (the current record holder is Aliia Nasyrova with a hair length of 257.33 cm (8 ft 5.3 in)). Renu Dhariwal sets a record in 2023 when her hair length is 265.17 cm (8 ft 7 in) for the longest hair in India. Renu's name is also recorded in the India Book of Records in 2020 when her hair length is 95 inches, the India Star Book of World Records on June 20, 2023, and the Uttarakhand Book of Records on December 19, 2020. She wins numerous awards, including the Uttarakhand Icon Award in 2021 due to her impressive hair length. Renu currently helps other women with hair and beauty tips on her two YouTube channels (MRDLonghairUttarakhand and M.R.DVlogsUttrakhand) where she shares advice and secrets, including how to make her chemical-free homemade hair oil and homemade shampoo. Local homeowners have filed the largest punitive damages civil lawsuit in Canadian history and are seeking are seeking $10 million in punitive damages against the Ambassador Bridge company for its creation of a west end 'slum'. The lawsuit, pointing to 112 properties purchased in Olde Sandwich Towne over the past decade by billionaire bridge owner Matty Moroun's company and allowed to be vacated, boarded up and left to rot. Bridge officials want to demolish homes on Indian Road, Rosedale Avenue and Edison Street to expand bridge operations and build a twin span.
