In Füssen, Bavaria, Germany, on January 13, 2024, the River Lech flows gently beneath a frosted bridge, reflecting the snowy Allgäu Alps. The winter landscape in Füssen features the River Lech, bordered by snow-covered banks, mirroring the underside of a bridge and the surrounding frosted trees. The calm water creates a mirror image, disturbed only by the gentle drift of ducks, contrasting the stillness of Bavaria's winter nature with human-made structures.

The ancient artificial caves in the cliff of the Matala bay, just above the famous sandy beach and the village is an archaeological site, created in the Neolithic Age for living while, carved in the sandstone, other caves were once used as tombs during the Roman period. In the background is visible Mount Psiloritis with some snow on on top. Matala is popular for tourism, with visitors across the world. In the sixties and seventies Matala attracted hippies, dropouts and hitchhikers from Europe. Nowadays Matala is a vibrant tourist destination with cafes, taverns, bars, beachbars, hotels, rooms to let, shops, accomodation facilities etc around the beach with the crystal clear water.
