Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, is wearing a VR headset at a tech fest in Mumbai, India, on February 19, 2024. He is launching the Mumbai Metropolis Metaverse today, which will provide an immersive virtual representation of Mumbai. Through this 3D map, the government is giving people a glimpse of how the Mumbai Metropolis Metaverse (MMR) will appear in the coming years and the kind of new amenities the city will be offering to its residents.
