Demonstration in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 1st of May 2017 during the labour day or the worker's right day. Also it is a general stsrike without any public transportation. Various different groups demonstrated for the first of May. Many of the slogans were against the austerity in Greece and the EU policy. About 10.000 protesters participated. There were also a few radical leftists that occupied for a while a coffee shop as it was open instead of participating in the general strike, also they destroyed and threw the wreaths outside the labour union. Biggest group was the PAME labor union with about 8000 people.
