Mounted on Astrobotic’s “Peregrine” lander, HAKUTO’s rover will be launched from the Earth by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, and sent to lunar orbit. The Peregrine lander will achieve soft landing on the moon. The rover is then deployed onto the Moon’s surface.
