Nepal Police intervenes in a live torch protest march by members of the Nepal Student Union as they take to the streets decrying the unilateral move by India and China to start the trade route through Lipulekh, a territory claimed by Nepal, on August 22, 2025. India and China agree to reopen border trade through Lipulekh Pass, a point located 56 kilometers inside Nepal's western frontier in Limpiyadhura.
