A worker shoulders the newly arrived rice at the Tondo Logistics Agency (Bulog) Warehouse, Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on March 31, 2020. As the national food buffer center, Bulog expressed its readiness to overcome unexpected conditions amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Bulog has stock stored in warehouses throughout Indonesia reaching 1.4 million tons from a total warehouse capacity of 3.8 million tons. The stock will increase in line with the harvest in the near future. Readiness was declared after the government announced it would carry out social restrictions on a larger scale to suppress the spread of coronavirus which is increasingly massive. As of March 31, 2020, there were 1,414 people infected with COVID-19, 122 people died and 75 people recovered.
