An actor disguised as a ghost stands in front of leaflet reading 'This is a theater'. Disguised culture workers (actors, live artists, dancers, musicians, technicians, etc.),and collectives (Aux Arts etc, Arts en greve...) organized a procession towards a theater (Pavillon Mazar) expected to become a restaurant or a giant loft to inform people about and to protest against the new reform of unemployment benefits. Culture workers demand also the extension of the white year ('Annee blanche') which extended their unemployment bebefits due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After the procession, artists performed inside sevral shops windows against precarity and to raise awarennes about their condition after more than one year of closing. Toulouse. France. A girls stands near a leaflet reading 'No to educative monoculture, let's us keep freedom of instruction alive'. Parents and children protest against the bill presented by J.-M. Blanquer, Minister of Education, so-called 'Law for the stenghtening of the Republican principles'. This bill will forbid school at home or family instruction except for a few exceptions like children critically ill. The right to instruct in the family is a right in France since the XIX century. Nearly 0.5% of pupils are instructed at home. This bill also plans to make school mandatory for 3yo children. The French governement says the bill is necessary for avoiding the radicalization of muslim children if they are instructed in their family. It's a nationwide week end of protest against the bill. Activists paint their faces to represent six animals commonly used in farming, testing, and entertainment industries, while others hold placards, distribute leaflets, and display a banner reading: ''Banks in Indonesia, please act for animals.'' The protest coincides with the launch of the Banks for Animals 2025 report, which assesses the ethical standards of major Indonesian banks--Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Central Asia, Bank Syariah, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia--urging the financial sector to adopt stronger animal welfare policies, transparency, protections, and meaningful commitments to end funding for practices such as animal testing, abuse in entertainment, and confinement of farmed animals in cages. The action is part of a coordinated international campaign held simultaneously in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
