Flash flooding destroys homes, submerges cars and prompts water rescues in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States on July 18, 2023. Flash flooding from a storm that moved through the area, caused damage to vehicles, businesses and homes on Drift Street and Welton Street Tuesday in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Three victims which included children needed to be rescued. The victims are in stable condition.

An electric car is being charged in Hefei, Anhui province, China, on July 10, 2023. The first new energy vehicle charging complex is in trial operation. The complex is a self-powered public parking building with one underground floor and five above-ground floors with a full ratio of charging piles. A total of 197 charging pile parking spaces are set up, including 185 car charging pile parking spaces and 12 large truck charging pile parking spaces. The complex can charge about 30,000 degrees per day, meeting the charging needs of at least 1,000 new energy vehicles.
