Among the festivals of the Hindu tradition, Navratri is endowed with a great significance. it is the symbol of victory of good over evil. the nine days festival culminates on the tenth day which is the day of victory and success. this festival also marks the symbolic journey from humanness to divinity thereby reminding people of the real goal of a human. the chief demigoddess adorned on these days is the feminine principle of divinity , therefore all the forms of mother goddess are announcing, worshipped and adorned on these nine days which also includes nine colours nine planets entire universe, these days are called as Shakti, the female energy represents the universe, while Shiva represents conscious or soul . Durga is the ultimate source of power who takes care of entire universe and feeds it. the Navratri festival glorifies the eternal power of Durga and seeks her blessing and protection thus, the festival of Navratri is endowed with a lot of significance in terms of religious, spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural and national dimensions. This festival drives home the message of heralding divinity, realizing the true purpose of life, demonstrating gratitude and sense of charity and several other values. Thus, this is an incredibly wonderful festival in this country .

Humanitarian conditions in the camp are deteriorating after a rain storm as many thousands of migrants are still located in the makeshift refugee camp, located at the Greek Macedonian border, waiting for the border to re-open.
