Migrant groups at Pazarkule and Kastanies border crossing, consisted mainly of people from Afghanistan are stranded between Greek and Turkish borders, at Kastanies borders crossing in Greece and Pazarkule near Edirne in Turkey at the neutral zone. The migrants and refugees are trying to enter Europe via Greece. Asylum seekers protest and throw stones and tear gas towards Greek security forces, police and army who respond with teargas and flash grenades. . Turkey announced that it would open border gates for a period of 72hrs to allow refugees to cross into European countries after 33 Turkish soldiers were killed in a Syrian air raid in Idlib overnight.
