Flash floods swamped towns and villages around the fortress city of Carcassonne in Aude as the Trapel river and the Aude river bursted theirs banks the night of October 15th 2018 due to very heavy rain. For now, twelve people have died. The village of Trèbes and of Villegailhenc are the ones which suffered the most of the flash-floods. Carcassonne. France. October 15th 2018.
