The Tufara carnival is renowned for its central figure, the Devil, a man who is wearing a papier-mache mask with a long tongue and is dressed in a costume made of goat skins. The Devil of Tufara is making his appearance at the start of the festivities, screaming, running, and wriggling to frighten the crowd. This creature is always accompanied by two Goblins and two Reapers, with whom he is causing a commotion and making noise in the narrow alleys of the village.
