Believed to be a reincarnated form of Gautam Buddha, Bomjan, 34, first came to public attention in 2005 after he claimed to have meditated for months without food, water, or sleep. Following the end of his meditation, he established ashrams in the Bara, Sarlahi, Sindhupalchowk, and Sindhuli Districts.
