A protester holds a cardboard sign reading 'Nor silence nor oblivion'. Women from the collective NousToustes and other organizations such as SUD or Amnesty International organize a nationwide march in France against feminicides, sexual and sexist violence, and patriarchy. Several thousand people, women and men, take to the streets for this day. They demand more measures from the French government to protect women who are beaten, injured, or killed by their partners. They say that 65% of killed women came to the police to make a complaint, but the police classified the complaints. They also ask the police to have better training to pay attention to these complaints. Feminist organizations demand at least EUR2.6 billion per year as necessary to tackle violence against women. In 2023, more than 270,000 women are victims of violence by their partners. In Toulouse, France, on November 22, 2025.

students hold a banner reading 'Working 43 years, 64yo already dying, retirements to oblivion'. France's labour unions led a third wave of nationwide strikes and protests against President Emmanuel Macron's plans to make the French work longer before retirement. More than 40,000 people protested in Toulouses against the planned reform of pension and retirement age to 64 from 62, a move opinion polls show is opposed by a vast majority (93%) of workers already facing a cost-of-living crisis. The retirement age would be raised to 64 years (for 43 years of continued work) and the pensions will be lower specially for women, 'short careers' and low wages people. The COR (Counsel of Pension Guidance), which depends of the Prime minister Office directly, said on September 2022 in its latest report that it sees no needs to reform the pension system as it shares in the French GDP will remain steady at least 2070. Nearly all sectors unions called for this strike and protest : mining and energy, health, schooling sector, transportation, trucks drivers, refining workers, bank workers, etc. Toulouse.
