Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov answers journalists questions during his news conference in Kyiv, Ukraine 5 February 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Oleksii Reznikov stated that the Ukraine's Defense Forces expect possible offensives from Russia before the symbolic date of 24 February, when the full-scale invasion began a year ago, but urged to trust only official information, according to local media.

The new law proposed and voted by Macon majority has been harshly critized by the National Council of Universities, the, CESE (Economic, Social and Environmental Council), the French Academy of Sciences, etc. The law creates a new offense of 'occupation of university places' punished by 3 years in jail and a €45.000 fine, a Council of Academic Freedoms (a general limit of political order on academic freedoms) and bypass the National Council of Universities.
