An university progessor holds a placard reading 'Arts, Humanities, Languages against the MAcrony'. University professors, students and reseachers gathered to protest against the 'Research Program Law' which give objectives for universities and Research organisms such as the CNRS, INSERM, etc). The new law proposed and voted by Macon majority has been harshly critized by the National Council of Universities, the, CESE (Economic, Social and Environmental Council), the French Academy of Sciences, etc. The law creates a new offense of 'occupation of university places' punished by 3 years in jail and a €45.000 fine, a Council of Academic Freedoms (a general limit of political order on academic freedoms) and bypass the National Council of Universities.
