NYPD crime scene unit investigators remove several pieces of evidence at the scene where human remains of a woman are found inside a bag in the basement of 330 Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on February 1, 2026. On Sunday morning at approximately 9:38 AM, the discovery is made. There are no arrests, and an investigation is ongoing. The NYPD investigates the discovery of a woman's remains found in a building in Brooklyn on Sunday morning. Police respond to the scene around 9:40 a.m. for reports of an unconscious person inside 330 Bushwick Avenue. Upon arrival, officers find the body parts of an adult female in a bag in the basement of the building. There are currently no arrests.
