An Indian paramilitary soldiers stands alert during restrictions in Srinagar, Kashmir on January 26, 2019. Restrictions were imposed by government in many parts of Srinagar following the official function of India's Republic Day at Sher-e-Kashmir stadium in Srinagar. A complete shutdown is being observed across the Kashmir valley following the call by Kashmiri separatist leaders.The leaders had asked the people of Kashmir to observe 26 January as a 'black day' against the oppresion by Indian forces in Kashmir. Earlier in the wee hours two suspected militants were killed by Indian forces in Khonmoh during the gun-battle,Police said.
