Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Kulman Ghising addresses the press conference in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 25, 2025. The interim government of Nepal appeals for donations to reconstruct the public and government infrastructure damaged during the Gen-Z protest on September 8 and 9, 2025. As per the preliminary estimate, the damage to these infrastructures stands somewhere near one trillion Nepali rupees. In a press conference held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 25, 2025, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Kulman Ghising publicly announces the establishment of a high-level committee and a dedicated fund to facilitate the reconstruction. The move aims to provide necessary financial resources for repair, rehabilitation, and economic restoration following widespread destruction.
