On August 15, Polish Army Day is celebrated. It is established in memory of the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920, fought during the Polish-Bolshevik War. On this occasion, celebrations and picnics with the participation of soldiers are organized throughout the country. A military parade with the participation of the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, passes through the capital.
