While the Bulgarian state eventually abandoned communist ideologies for more market-oriented practices, their memory remains in the form of abandoned infrastructure. At past years many communism era simbols, buildings, machines and military gear abandoned in villages or near the country roads are poular as tourist attractons for the tourists crossing the Balkan country by cars.
