NYPD officers work the scene where a man is fatally shot in the chest and a 14-year-old boy is injured after being shot in the arm inside a NYCHA building at 1219 Adee Avenue in Bronx, New York, United States, on December 27, 2025. The shooting takes place near the elevator inside the building on Saturday evening at approximately 6:25 PM. Shell casings are seen inside the building, and crime scene tape is in place to hold the scene for further investigation. EMS responds and transports the unidentified male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition, where he is later pronounced deceased. Police officers from the 49 Precinct transport the 14-year-old boy in a marked RMP to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is listed in stable condition. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
