Schoolteachers and teachers are demonstrating in Toulouse, France, on April 22, 2024, in a joint protest with all unions (CGT, SUD, SNES, FFSU, FO, etc.) against what French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal calls the ''shock of knowledges,'' ''level groups,'' and the idea of mandatory uniforms up to university level. Protests and strikes are taking place all over France in a national day of strikes under the motto ''No withdrawal, no means, no return to classrooms.''
