The Iztaaccihuatl Volcano in Mexico is being covered in snow during sunrise, as the entry of humidity generated by the subtropical jet stream increases the probability of sleet and/or snow falling on mountain peaks above 4,200 meters above sea level, including this volcano, the Popocatepetl Volcano, and the Nevado de Toluca, according to the National Meteorological Service's weather forecast.
