In Warsaw, Poland, on May 10, 2024, Member of the European Parliament Patryk Jaki is participating in a large farmers' protest under the slogan 'Down with the Green Deal' on the city streets. Farmers have been protesting for several months in Poland, and as part of their protest, they are driving their tractors en masse through city streets, causing traffic disruptions. They are opposing the influx of products from Ukraine into the Polish market and the European Green Deal, which is a set of European Union initiatives aimed at achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Hunters and transporters are supporting them in the protest. A significant march is taking place through the streets of Warsaw, culminating in front of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. During the protest, participants are collecting signatures for a nationwide referendum on the European Union's climate policy.

On this day, marking the first event of Carnival, the Pro Loco of Ruvo di Puglia, with the support of the Municipality, is organizing the feast of the calzone di Ruvo. This long calzone, typical of Ruvo, is being prepared by local restaurateurs and is being carried, almost in a procession, from a well-known bakery to Menotti Garibaldi Square, where it will be tasted.
