A herd of wild Sulawesi black macaques (Macaca Tonkeana) sits on a tree by the side of the road waiting for drivers to give food in the Coffee Garden Mountains Area, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, on 18 June 2021. The behavior of these protected and wild animals is now changing and they are increasingly dependent on humans due to frequent feeding by residents who pass through the area. The provision of food continues even though it has been prohibited by the local Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) officer.
